email.tr is a Turkish-first email service operated in Türkiye by **Dilimon Teknoloji Ltd. Şti.** Under the Turkish data protection law (KVKK), this company is the data controller and carries the legal responsibility. Payment and billing for international subscriptions and name sales run through the group company **Dilimon Technology LLC** (USA, Wyoming). The service runs on Cloudflare's global edge infrastructure.

## Why we started

Most large email services are free because the real product is the user: the mailbox is scanned for ads and interests are profiled. We chose the opposite. Our revenue comes entirely from subscriptions; there are no ads in your mailbox and your content is not scanned for ad targeting. Our aim is to show that this can be done from Türkiye: an @email.tr identity, a Turkish interface and Turkish-language support, pricing in TRY and a service within the scope of Turkish law. We are the Türkiye-based alternative to privacy-focused services such as Proton Mail and Tuta.

## Our principles

- **Ad-free model.** Revenue comes from subscriptions; you are the customer, not the product.
- **Zero-knowledge.** Your password never reaches the server (SRP), and content is stored encrypted.
- **No overblown language.** We avoid absolute claims like "the most secure in the world", "100% secure" or "unhackable"; we rely on measurable criteria and published contracts.
- **You stay in control.** Not even we can reset your password; the recovery words are held only by you. We never sell your data.
